Our mission

Gardant’s mission is to provide its clients with specialised solutions in the field of impaired and illiquid loans, with state-of-the-art technological systems and a complete and integrated product range.

Thanks to the know-how, the teams’ experience and the new-generation technological and operational infrastructure, Gardant positions itself as a vertically integrated partner of reference both for banks interested in managing more efficiently or divesting their impaired or non-core credit assets, and for investors interested in investment opportunities in this sector.

In managing relationships with clients with credit exposures, we work to manage even the most complex situations with an approach that is respectful, constructive and attentive to the specific nature of the cases.

Our values

Ethics

We carry out our work with the highest degree of professional and moral responsibility, refraining from any collusive or abusive practices and/or behaviour to the detriment of our stakeholders, bearing in mind our social responsibility.

Impartiality

In decisions involving all stakeholders, we take care that no discrimination occurs on the basis of age, gender, health status, race/ethnicity, nationality, political opinions, religious beliefs or other criteria interfering with the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals enshrined in the Constitution.

Honesty

Criteria of fairness, collaboration, loyalty and mutual respect guide our activities, in compliance with the laws in force and with professional ethics, free from any internal/external pressure towards the realisation of interests different from our mission.

Transparency

We are committed to providing complete, transparent, comprehensible and accurate information, so that our customers and, more generally, all those interested in the Group’s fortunes are in a position to make decisions autonomously and consciously.

Confidentiality

We ensure the confidentiality of the information and personal data processed and the protection of information acquired in connection with the work performed. We prohibit the use of information obtained in order to gain undue profit on our own behalf and/or on behalf of third parties, or in such a way as to harm the Group’s image and reputation.

Diligence

We periodically update our vision and related actions for the integration of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) factors within our operations and business model, consistently with the priorities defined by the Group itself and by the reference stakeholders, and starting from the sustainability issues considered most relevant.
